Key Findings from 2022 Data Threat Report – Manufacturing Edition

November 10, 2022

Historically, manufacturers enjoyed relatively low risk of cyberattacks, due in part to minimal internet connectivity and a prevalence of non-cloud IT infrastructure. Today, the situation is much different, with internet connectivity pervasive throughout organizations due to internet of things (IoT) devices, distributed and cloud infrastructures that include third parties. The survey was conducted by 451 Research, part of S&P Global Market Intelligence, and includes data from 90 automotive and 157 non-automotive manufacturing security leaders and practitioners worldwide from 17 countries.
